I think that LB, RB and GK are positions where it's difficult to have more than 1 elite level player in a squad. Usually 1 clear starter and then a decent backup is the most realistic option.
These 3 positions are quite specialised in the modern game (GK the most specialised obviously).
We can have 2 elite level DMs and both will get plenty of time on the pitch. Same with attacking areas of the pitch.
But with GK, LB and RB there will usually only be 1 player who starts all the important games and the backup gets domestic cups. He'll always need to be at a level where he can cover if the starter is injured.
We saw Neco Williams leave, Kelleher will probably leave, most high quality backup players will want to leave when it's clear that they are not going to become number 1.
If Trent stays I think that Conor Bradley will leave in 1 or 2 years if he spends a lot of time on the bench.
Tsimikas has been a decent quality backup, probably an upgrade on Moreno but I don't think any of us should expect him to play at Robbo's level.
