This is a strange one. Apparently Newcastle approached Liverpool about Gordon - they must know we have had some interest.

Looks like it was turned down as they wanted Quansah as part of the deal - rightly so, we should be building the future around him.

Wonder if we are going to continue to negotiate with Newcastle maybe someone else going the other day… Kostas? They play Dan Burn at left back so they probably need a natural player.

This will happen very quickly if there are legs in it all.points signalling to him.wanting it best mate Jones ,idol Stevie and believe a red.  We have money to spend if they feel it's worth inside forward or comfortable wide . I am for it

A pacey winger who can cause some trouble for defenses, I’m for it

Haven't seen loads of him but not convinced he's much better than what we have.

I'd sooner someone to play right side a d through the middle

Most effective and mainly plays from the leg though doesn't he?

We absolutely need a quality player up top

I’m sure the new football management team would have seen the amount of missed chances by Diaz and Nunez when it mattered most with their conversation rate being pretty much
      Less than 1 in 10

I am glad we are bringing an attacker in which only means someone is going to be sold

It’s sad but needs to be done

Really good move. Kid is prem proven, loves the club, is as pacey as Diaz, works off the ball, amd creates loads of chances. Created a ton of goals for Castle last season. May have been their POY? Years away from his celing aswell. I really like this link and hope it comes true. Kid could be special

I don't want to pretend Gordon is the best thing since sliced bread, but for his age and the upside this kid has, it's a good like for like Diaz swap at worst. And you get a player who can honestly become something special. He's only 23

That's alright then let's sign them.as they would.have won trophies first thing a scout looks for that.  Anthony won trophies maybe why Utd signed him eh

Anthony has far more natural ability in his little finger than Gordon. However talent alone is not always good enough. People get carried away into thinking that players at other clubs are automatically better than those at your own club. It's personal choice, you rate Gordon more than I do.

Gordon's decent but not convinced he's an upgrade on Diaz or Darwin or Jota, who all also can play LW. If he preferred playing on the right then maybe, as we don't have so many options on that side.

We are definitely right not to include Quansah in any deal. ( Suspect that is Newcastle trying to finesse the financial rules as so many are doing - both clubs pay over the odds on paper for both, so it cancels out, but you amortise the incoming player's deal over the term of their contract so it counts as a net big sale.)

Nico Williams 😂 the kid has done a couple of step overs in the euros and missed a few sitters and people are wanking over him.

They're selling Minteh, so they may not br forced to sale. Also sounds like Isak could be off.

There's a thing called the internet which enables you to watch football from other countries. There are leagues other than the premier league

      It's a no from me.

Overpaying for a lad because he's young and English doesn't sound like smart business to me. He's had 1 good season domestically yes this is true (was non-existent in the CL). If he has another season like the 1 he just had then ok you take a closer look and by that time he'll only have 12 months left on his contract, maybe we can do something if we're still keen.

But for me this summer has to be about getting the players we need in key positions. A DM, a CB and a fullback (either LB or RB).
