I tell ya.  I cant wait to goto work tomorrow. I'll be going in with my head held high after a truly outstanding performance in a truly outstanding game.  We lost the game in the first leg, but tonight the team and the supporters, and i mean true supporters-not those plastic fuckers from the fridge who have shown themselves to be the fakes they are, were absolutely fantastic.

Anyone who watched that game will realise that we are team on the up and this is a great time to be a Liverpool supporter.

 great effort lads , great match , (only first 10 mins of 2nd half , we lost some focus) but the lads came over it and retaleated great

I'm very proud of our club today too. On a better day we would have doubled up on our goals and conceeded less. We stayed fighting. And Chelsea are gonna be scared shitless of what we're gonna do to them next time we play them.

We did our best and thats it. Well, im just proud of the lads for giving it their all in the 2 legs. But it was at home where we lost the battle, we started well but never really recovered. It's disappointing but at the same time, we tried our hardest, but that tw*t goal killed it off. It was like a double Istanbul that wasn't fated to happen.

We can't just turn up to make the numbers, even if we lost the first leg 5-0, you know the boys are going to give 110% to win the return 6-0.

A wonderful match to watch. Not as easy to stomach after nearly winning it but a fantastic game all the same.

Liverpool fans all over have done themselves proud tonight. The belief was there, and it was evident.

The only qualm I have with tonight is that fans such as Chelsea's don't deserve to win matches like that. They delight in misfortune, have no respect or class and are clearly there for the ride. With them singing '2-0 and you f*cked it up,' a victory tonigght would have been sweeter than usual.
