If Trent is truely a Red with dreams of being captain one day. Would he really leave us for free and ruin his legacy?     I wouldn’t, you lot wouldn’t and it’s hard to believe Trent would but maybe it’s just wishful thinking.

You don't think you would. But until you are in that position you never know. Hope he stays. Too long in the toothe to take it personally if he doesn't.

All I do know is if he does go it should not be from the want of trying on the clubs part.

The assist and the pass, which was almost like another assist, in the England game were out of this world.

Just added another 20m to his price tag and I bet a whole lot more of interest.

      Get his contract sorted ffs!

No price tag mate. If he's leaving he's leaving on a free transfer which is a joke.

The Trent/virg/salah contract situation is embarrassing and a massive OG by the powers that be. All 3 will no doubt be getting approached one way another by other clubs.

Only this club would allow a situation like this.

"Only this club would allow situation like this".

You mean the club that has the most top flight tiles? The English team with the most UCL titles? A club thats in the top 5 or 6 most valuable clubs in the world?

      What does that even mean?

Didn’t PSG lose Mbappe on a free

City lost Gundegoen on a free

Munich - Lewondonski, Alaba on a free

Chelsea - Rudiger , Christensen- free

Need to get him signed up asap. It's one thing arguing the toss about giving older players extended deals on high wages, but there is no such excuse for Trent who is 25 and once more beginning to purr. It would be criminal to let him leave on a free. If other clubs want to let their best players leave for nothing that's up to them.

all the effort in market to get good value and they get Fa for a 100 million pound player, makes no sense
